Grodan Rockwool Cubes

This tray contains 77 Grodan rockwool germination plugs, inserted into a perforated-bottom PVC holder. Each tray is cuttable, allowing you to use only the necessary amount without waste.

Composition and Structure

Made from volcanic rock (basalt), these plugs have a vertical fibrous structure that maintains their shape while promoting root development. Their composition allows for an optimal air/water balance, creating an ideal environment for uniform and rapid germination.

Safety and Inertness

The plugs are non-toxic, pathogen-free, and 100% inert after soaking at pH 5.5. They provide a reliable solution for seedling or cutting phases.

Use and Transplantation

Compatible with Grodan culture blocks or any other suitable substrate, these plugs transplant easily after germination to continue growth in a larger cultivation system.
