System Operation:

The Multi-Duct is equipped with a long growing tray, in which irrigation channels are installed to deliver the nutrient solution. When the roots of young plants emerge from their rock wool blocks, they are placed directly on the growing tray, where they attach to a growing film (or aqua nappe) that is immersed in the nutrient solution. This system optimizes nutrient circulation to promote plant growth.

Principle of Nutrient Film Technique (NFT):

The NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) relies on a thin layer of nutrient solution constantly flowing over the root system. This system allows the roots to receive essential nutrients, promoting their absorption and development. The nutrient solution, after being distributed over the growing tray, returns to the reservoir, where it is continuously oxygenated thanks to the perpetual movement of the water.
