DWC System – Constant Access to Nutrients and Oxygen

The plants, once placed in the wire mesh pots filled with clay pellets, are positioned above a reservoir of nutrient solution. The roots grow freely in an environment rich in oxygen and nutrients, ensuring a constant absorption of the necessary elements, exactly when they need them.

Super Oxygenation of the Nutrient Solution

An air pump, connected to a spherical air stone via a silicone tube, ensures optimal oxygenation of the nutrient solution. This promotes healthy and rapid root development, reducing the risks of stagnation and ensuring better plant growth.

70 Liters Nutrient Solution Tank

The nutrient solution tank has a capacity of 70 liters, which allows for sufficient and constant feeding for the plants. The mesh of the removable basket pots allows the plants to be rotated for better access to light, without having to move the entire system.

Nutriculture Tips to Maximize Results

• Continuous Operation of the Pump: The Newa air pump must operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to ensure that the roots always have access to the nutrient solution and oxygen.

• Planting: Young plants that have already started root development in Jiffy discs, rock wool cubes, or Root-Riot plugs can be directly installed in the DWC basket pots, provided the root mass is sufficiently dense.

• Changing the Nutrient Solution: The nutrient solution should be changed every 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the size of the plants, the quality, and the hardness of the water. Remember to regularly check the pH and EC of the solution for optimal control.
