Oxypot System 1 Plant – Simplicity and Efficiency

The Oxypot 1 plant system is a very simple hydroponic growing solution to set up, without complex accessories or programming, and with minimal substrate requirements. This system is ideal for beginner gardeners or those looking for a low-maintenance method.

The Oxypot system consists of a wire basket pot filled with clay pellets, in which the plant is placed. The pot is then placed on a reservoir of nutrient solution. The plant's roots develop in a chamber rich in oxygen and nutrients, allowing them to absorb exactly what they need when they need it.

Maximum Oxygenation of the Nutrient Solution

The system is equipped with an air pump connected to a spherical bubble stone via a silicone tube. This setup ensures optimal oxygenation of the nutrient solution, thereby promoting better growth of roots and plants.

19-Litre Nutrient Solution Reservoir

The 19 liters tank allows storing the fertilizer solution needed for the plant. It is equipped with a drain tube that facilitates monitoring the solution level and allows for convenient refilling. The mesh of the basket pot is removable, which allows turning the plant to expose it to light without having to move the entire system.

Nutriculture Tips for Optimal Use

• Continuous Operation of the Pump: The Newa air pump must operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, because the roots need constant access to the nutrient solution and oxygen.

• Installation of Young Plants: Young plants that have already started root development in a Jiffy disc, a small rockwool cube, or a Root-Riot plug can be directly installed in the DWC basket pot. Ensure that the root mass is dense enough for this step.

• Changing the Nutrient Solution: The nutrient solution must be completely changed every 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the size of the plant, the quality of the water, and its hardness. It is also essential to regularly check the pH and EC of the nutrient solution, not only when changing the solution.
